Fair Water Allocation Simulator
Five farms share one water source: the Oued Issen shared canal. When total demand exceeds supply, Aquifer allocates the shortage proportionally to each farm's request — no farm is cut off entirely, and no farm is favored over another.
Total supply available
8,000 m³ / week
Total requested: 10,200 m³ / week

Algorithm: if total supply ≥ total requested, every farm receives its full request. Otherwise every farm's request is scaled down by the same ratio (supply ÷ total requested), so the available water — and the shortage — is shared proportionally to need rather than on a first-come-first-served basis.
